The Old Vicarage Country House wedding photographer
Jack and Rachel's wedding felt like a perfect reflection of marriage itself; full of unpredictability, emotion, joy, and beauty in every kind of weather.
From sunshine to rain to an unexpected burst of hail, the weather gave us a little bit of everything throughout the day. And honestly, it couldn’t have suited the atmosphere more perfectly. Marriage isn’t about waiting for constant sunshine, it’s about finding joy in every season together, laughing through the chaos, and holding onto each other through whatever comes your way. Jack and Rachel did that effortlessly.
The Old Vicarage was the perfect setting for such a heartfelt day. Nestled on the edge of Dorset and Hampshire, the venue has that timeless country house charm that immediately makes everyone feel relaxed and at home. The beautiful gardens and characterful interiors created beautiful backdrops no matter what the skies decided to do.
One of the highlights of the morning was spending time at Rachel's Mum's house while Rachel got ready with her closest friends, her daughter, and her Mum. There was such a calm, excited atmosphere — full of anticipation and joy.
When we arrived at The Old Vicarage the guests were settling in, and all so excited to see Rachel. The ceremony was emotional, and carried out with their young children close to them at all times. A perfect reminder of the season of life they are in while they take this beautiful next step.
That mix of genuine emotion and joy carried through the entire wedding.
The flowers were beautiful shades of white and cream, perfectly complementing the country house setting. Every detail felt thoughtful without ever losing the relaxed and personal atmosphere that made the wedding so special.
And in many ways, that’s exactly what made it so beautiful.
